The Australian Open semi-finalist and Britain’s number one ranked female tennis player has extended her footwear and apparel sponsorship deal with the brand.
24-year-old Konta is the first British woman to reach a Grand Slam semi-final in 33 years, earning her a top-30 world ranking.
Konta, who’s been sponsored by ASICS for the past two seasons, says: “Last year I kept working hard on my tennis, which gave me some great opportunities and experience.
“That, combined with a good off season and a positive start to the season in Australia, has me excited for what 2016 holds.
“The support and knowledge of ASICS will further help me to realise my dreams and I’m excited to continue to represent the brand.”
