The innovative marketplace came about during Lockdown when the founders (fitness instructors themselves) realised the need for a simple to use solution to schedule, manage, deliver and take payment for sessions both online and in person.
"Instructors are great at teaching their clients how to become fitter, but many of them aren't confident when it comes to managing it all online", explained Jane Hart, co-founder of GetMeFit. "We wanted to make it easy for others in our industry to take control and earn money."

The team at GetMeFit has identified that even with lockdown being said to ease off in December , the fitness industry has changed forever. With the continued uncertainty of times ahead, the platform will ensure that independent instructors can continue to have direct access to their clients, manage their own schedules and future-proof their livelihoods.

The GetMeFit platform offers tech support and training to help instructors make a smooth transition online the whole experience is successful for both instructor and client.
Along with this, the platform offers one of the lowest commissions in the market, ensuring over 90% of fees go to the instructor. The company is in the process of setting up as a Social Venture, reinvesting money back into their mission to help instructors build viable futures.
