PUMA has launched the third generation of the v-Konstrukt boot, designed specifically with the rugby player in mind. The PUMA v-Konstrukt III evolves from its predecessor with further fine-tuning and improvement of its protective features. With a fresh new design, the PUMA v-Konstrukt III boot will stand out on the pitch and the high technical spec offers the comfort and protection required for ultimate game performance.
The PUMA v-Konstrukt III provides aggressive protection, while the combination of high-quality yet lightweight leather gives optimal fit, ensuring the player has the best possible comfort. The boot also features a ball impact guard, unique to PUMA, giving the player maximum protection whilst on the pitch.
As well as protection, the v-Konstrukt provides the player with a unique glove-like fit generated by the PUMA AptoLast and premium full grain leather. The AptoLast allows the upper to perfectly mould to the player’s foot. The combination of the finger shaped external heel counter and the dual density EVA create a snug protective fit around the heel, giving extra protection and cushioning by adapting to the heel and ankles, while the integrated DuoCell unit provides optimal cushioning when running.
Further benefits include supersoft premium full grain leather, off-centered lacing reducing the ball impact and metal-tipped conical studs. The extensive protection elements of this boot, alongside the ultimate comfort features, will allow players to take to the pitch with belief in their footwear. The PUMA v-Konstrukt III is worn by Mathew Tait, Dwayne Peel, Alex Tuilagi and Nick Abendanon.
