NEW BALANCE RELEASES A NEW PERFORMANCE MASK Reusable face mask offers breathable, moisture-wicking protection and gives a nod to the brand’s performance heritage.
Global athletic leader New Balance announced today it will debut a new Active Face Mask. Available starting March 15, 2021, the reusable face mask is intended for fitness and performance activities.
“Throughout the past year, New Balance has shown its commitment to providing quality PPE to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, beginning with the production of more than one million general use face masks for healthcare workers in early 2020.” Said Kristen Fischer, Licensing Manager. “We have taken what we learned during that process about breathability and fit and applied it to the creation of a performance mask.”
The New Balance Active Face Mask features three layers of breathable fabric (a mix of polyester, polypropylene and spandex) that has been treated with wicking to channel away moisture. The mask is marked with a reflective logo and has behind-the-head straps and a moldable nose clip to ensure a secure fit. Its shaped design leaves room for breathing and helps keeps the mask away from the mouth, while offering optimal chin and mouth coverage.
The New Balance Active Face Mask (sizes XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL) retails for £22 for one mask and a wearable carrying case. The mask is available for purchase on NewBalance.com.
