Tomo Svetic Joins Highland Outdoors as New European Business Development Manager

As a strategic part of their continued European expansion, the UK’s premier wholesale distributor for Shooting Sports, Highland Outdoors, have announced the appointment of Tomo Svetic as European Business Development Manager.

Tomo, formally the Sales and Distribution Consultant at Schmidt and Bender, played a crucial role in growing their commercial and defence market shares. Tomo is well-respected throughout the greater European trade, drawing on a wealth of industry experience gained over the past 15-years. Tomo’s knowledge and skill set will further strengthen an already vibrant, energetic Highland Outdoors team.

When asked about the appointment, Highland Outdoors CEO John Bright commented: “We have set ourselves ambitious goals at Highland Outdoors, a key part in achieving our objectives is having the right people focused on helping us deliver our long term growth strategy. Tomo joining the Highland team greatly strengthens our export sales, we look forward to exploring new European opportunities in 2021 and beyond.

Tomo will be based in Croatia and will play a pivotal role in Highland Outdoors’ continued business development.

In reference to his new role, Tomo commented: “I am very excited to be joining the dynamic team at Highland Outdoors and working together in growing the business throughout Europe. External challenges will undoubtably continue in 2021, however I relish this opportunity and look forward to exciting times ahead.”
