Stefan Vollbach (pictured) has been appointed to the newly created role at Skins of global brand director.
The German native has progressed through nearly all stages of the marketing chain in the sports retail industry: from seller and buyer, to department manager and national product manager, to director of marketing and sales. He has recently completed a tour of Skins’ international operations, including Australia where the company was founded, and here in the UK - where he will be working closely with David Ling, Skins’ general manager.
Says Vollbach: “I am excited about the enormous potential of the Skins brand and its products. Skins has been a very successful company and has built a credible reputation among athletes and physiotherapists, resulting in a high demand for its high-quality compression clothing. Our next challenge is to ensure that all types of exercisers and sports players understand the scientific benefits of the only rigorously tested compression gear on the market.”
