KWCC, the Hong Kong-based sports licensee, will manufacture and sell adidas Badminton racquets and accessories globally from 2013 through its worldwide distribution network.
The company boosted its badminton expertise two years ago by hiring experienced sports engineers and developers and has since worked on producing a highly innovative range.
The core range consists of 27 racquets in four different benefit pillars – adizero, adipower, Precision and Switch. The hardware range will include a shuttlecock with a range of nylon and feather options, along with a complementary range of grips, strings, bags and accessories.
KWCC will also be the global distributor for a new range of adidas Badminton specific clothing and footwear.
Racket Sports Europe is the UK and Ireland subsidiary for KWCC responsible for the exclusive distribution and marketing of adidas Badminton products in these countries.

The range will be launched to the UK and Irish trade in February.
Accompanying the launch will be a comprehensive global and UK focused marketing campaign, two aspects of which have already been actioned.
adidas’ first player signing is a major global men’s singles talent who will join the brand from March 1. Additional major signings will follow.
In addition, the adidas Badminton Facebook page (www.facebook.com/adidasbadminton) has launched and will play an integral role in communicating with the badminton community.
