Ben Stokes (pictured) has joined the brand’s group of elite athletes.
Alan Hed, New Balance’s executive vice president for international, has described Stokes as “one of the world’s most talented and exciting young cricketers”.
Hed adds: “This will enable the brand to continue developing its global reputation for high performance products, with the New Balance range now encompassing both cricket footwear and cricket equipment.”
Stokes, currently in Australia as part of England’s Ashes tour party, says: “New Balance provides high quality performance footwear that not only looks great, but is extremely durable and comfortable – exactly the quality product a cricketer requires to keep at the top of his game.
“I am very pleased to be able to help on the future development of the New Balance cricket range, as well as compete at international level as a member of the New Balance team.”
