Rugby League World Cup 2013 has announced that the kit to be worn by match officials at the tournament and a broad range of equipment for venues and teams will be supplied by Centurion Rugby.
Centurion Rugby is a name already synonymous with Rugby League in the UK through its long-standing association with the England team, 12 of the 14 clubs in the Super League and many more in the Kingstone Press Championship.
“I am delighted we are an official supplier of the Rugby League World Cup 2013, as it underlines our commitment to this great sport,” Neil Jennings, Centurion Rugby sales and marketing director, says.
“Centurion Rugby has a strong relationship with British rugby league and this involvement allows us to showcase our brand throughout the world as part of our strategy to supply high quality clothing and equipment to the game.”
Rugby League World Cup 2013 commercial manager Rob Singleton adds: “We’re extremely pleased to be able to welcome Centurion Rugby into our growing portfolio of tournament partners.
“Centurion have a strong track record in British rugby league, supplying a range of equipment and kit to clubs at all levels, and it’s exciting to be able to build on that at international level.
“The kit for the match officials has been designed in consultation with the RLWC 2013 match officials and we are very excited to see the results when it’s officially unveiled.”
Centurion Rugby is a brand owned solely by Primo Play, a private company with great experience in the manufacture and distribution of sports and games equipment.
