And encourages people of all ages and genders to run together listening to live DJs and music on big speakers along the course.
Participants can dress as their favourite pop star or their musical icon and run 5k, 10k or 21k whilst embracing the spirit of Brighton’s two loves – Music and running!
Runners will be entertained by a DJ, dancers, gymnasts and musicians and there will be prizes for the best fancy dress.
Brighton Run2Music will be held on Saturday, May 11, on Madeira Drive, Brighton.
The Brighton and Hove Triathlon takes place on the weekend of September 14-15 on Hove Lawns.
The triathlon is in its fourth year and is a very successful event with 1,500 participants.
This year it becomes an ITU (International Triathlon Union) accredited event and is a British qualifier for the World Championships in Canada next year.
Participants come from all over to compete and it is also open to children aged eight-15 for the children’s Triathlon.
Children under eight compete in the Scootathlon – scoot, run, bike.
