Exwick, Exeter, Devon

Distance: 5 km

A monthly 5k road race series from Exwick Playing Fields, Exeter, on Tuesday evenings. A great traffic free, pancake flat run on footpaths and cycle tracks around the Playing Fields and the River Exe Flood Relief. This event is suitable for people chasing PBs, along with novice runners. (tbc)

Dorsett City Hotel, Aldgate High St, London

Distance: 10 km Run Tour

Join a dark 10k running tour about the tragic murders in Whitechapel in 1888. As we jog through the back-alleys of East London, you’ll be transported back to Victorian London at the time of the Whitechapel murders. You’ll visit the crime scenes and places where key evidence was collected, learn about the police investigation, the role of the press and then (literally) run through an array of suspects: Who was Jack the Ripper?;Each tour has a guide pace to keep you in your comfort zone. This tour is half-run / half-walk. We’ll mix up short intervals of running with walking to make it round the route. This is a popular choice for those that find 10k a bit far, are building up from 5k, or wouldn’t necessarily class themselves as a runner.

Heslington East, York

Distance: 5 km

A fast, chip-timed series of ten 5k races between February and November, run on a cycle circuit at the York Sport Village in Heslington East, York. Each event comprises two races: an A race for those who expect to run sub-22:30 and a B race for those who expect to run 22:30 or above. Races run on the second Thursday of each month.

Seaham, County Durham

Distance: 10 km

A 10k road run in remembrance of those fallen during the great World Wars and more recent military conflicts who were from Seaham, County Durham.

What better place to experience trail running than the New Forest National Park. Five races - Half Marathon, 10 miles, 10k, 5k, and Cani-cross 10k, all start at the Hollands Wood Campsite, which is in between Brokenhurst and Lydhurst, deep inside the Forest.;Each route will take you on a captivating run through the Forest, and with plenty of wildlife to keep you company including deer, ponies, cattle and the odd pig, this near end of season trail running event should be a lovely, if not slightly chilly, end to your year’s efforts. We actively encourage new runners to our events and with no cut offs, all you need do is worry about being ready for the event.;Start Time;11:00am

Celebrate 100 years of Forestry Commission England, with a unique 10k running series through the forests of England. Enter any individual 10k event, or conquer the nation’s forests and complete the Forestry 100 Challenge and run 100k of forest trails across any ten events in the series. Set in 16 beautiful forest sites around the Country, each 10k trail has its own individual characteristics. Will it be flat and fast, picturesque but punishing, or steady with stunning scenery?;Thames Chase Forest provides a unique woodland setting right on the eastern edge of London. Looping around the quick, flat course, runners can enjoy some fast downhill sections while weaving their way through the orchards and wildflower meadow.

Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire

An exciting trail-running event with a choice of distances to suit runners of all abilities. This is a unique opportunity to run on a mixture of paths, tracks, woodland trails and open land on exclusive parts of the estate not usually accessible to the public, and we guarantee the autumnal colours will be stunning! There is a choice of a 10k, 10 mile, half marathon or two-mile fun run.

Rushcliffe Country Park, Nottingham

Dawn or Dusk is your chance to run at a time of day that suits you, and anything else you have going on at the weekend. Join us as the sun rises, or, if you prefer, as it starts to set. You’ll take in one or two laps of Rushcliffe Country Park In Nottingham for a 5k or 10k run as the sun rises, making for a glorious start to your day, or as it sets, with autumnal skies to gaze upon. Everyone taking part will receive an official Dawn or Dusk t-shirt. There is also a CaniX option available.

Run Heaton 5k, 10k & Half Marathon returns for an Autumn race around the stunning Heaton Park. This large park, just North of Mancheste,r is the perfect setting for a fun and frantic day out. Running on the paths within Heaton Park, this race is a great opportunity for a chip timed personal best!;Chip timed results, free official race photographs, unique themed medal, water, fruit & flapjack. Marathon, Athens, Greece

Distance: 42 km;10 km;5 km

The Athens Marathon, the Authentic Marathon, is not just a sporting event, a hard race, a tough course of 42,195m. More than that, the Athens Marathon, the Authentic Marathon, is a bridge that unifies the legend with history, it showcases the strength of human will, it is a fountain of values, of social liability, environmental sensitivity, friendship and solidarity. This wonderful city will welcome you with an array of splendid monuments and historical sights, finishing in the legendary Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic games of the modern times in 1896 took place.;The 10k Road Race will, from now on, be held on Saturday afternoon (meaning the day before the Marathon Race, on 09 November 2019), allowing the organisers to extend the maximum registration limit and allow participation to even more members of the running community. A 5k Road Race will be held the same day morning (Sunday 10 November), in which the upper participation limit will be over doubled in compared to previous years.

Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne

Distance: 10 km;3 km;1 km

A 10k run on a traffic free course on the footpaths around Newcastle’s Town Moor. Start/finish on Town Moor. Race HQ is at the Royal Grammar School, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. Also junior races and ‘Mini-Minor’ fun run. One minute silence to precede the main race.

Low Dalby, Pickering, North Yorkshire

Distance: 10 km

From Low Dalby Visitor Centre, the first 2 miles of this 10k are a steady uphill climb on a private tarmac road. First runners to the summit get the King and Queen of the Hill prize! The surface continues as a compacted stone trail (uneven!), the track turns right and begins a fast and furious descent down Sand Dale and Heck Dale. At the bottom, a right turn takes you along Dalby Beck and down the trail back to Low Dalby and the finish.

Lytham St Annes, Lancashire

Distance: 10 km

A fast and flat course on the coastal front of Lytham and Fairhaven Lake, starting at Lytham Windmill. A two minute silence will be observed before the start of the race for Remembrance Sunday.

Draycote Water is a 650-acre reservoir set high in the rolling Warwickshire countryside near (and clearly signposted from) the village of Dunchurch. There is a flat five-mile road surrounding the reservoir which is ideal for a run. Take in the stunning views as you enjoy one of our races or visit the country park where you will find plenty of room for outdoor games, picnics and barbecues.;Situated three miles south of Rugby and less than 15 minutes from the M1, this secluded site is gloriously peaceful and breathtaking in all seasons. Lovely point-to-point race from Cowley Recreation Ground, Uxbridge along the Grand Union Canal to Cassiobury Park, Watford. A flat, scenic, unusual, multi-terrain course, traffic-free apart from one minor road crossing near the start.;Start Time;10:00am

The Xcel Leisure Centre, Walton on Thames, Surrey

Distance: 26.2 miles;13.1 miles

This event will commemorate Remembrance Day and honour all those who gave their lives during World War 1. A flat trail marathon or half marathon run along the beautiful River Thames, starting rom the Xcel Leisure Centre, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey.;This event is built around a unique ‘race freeze’ at 11am, where at the sound of a horn blast all runners stop to observe the 2 minute silence, resuming their race at exactly 11.02am. This is not an event with a 2 minute silence put in it - this is a 2 minute silence with an entire marathon and half marathon event built around it. It is the very heart and soul of this event and the reason it exists. It is a very moving, spine tingling experience to be part of.
