Newlands Corner, Guildford

A 15-year-old hilly run attracting the very best and most fun-loving of runners. This popular event is well renowned for its tough cross country routes, with hills, mud, sand and more hills, and sells out extremely quickly (absolutely nothing to do with the infamous homemade brownies and flapjacks). Medals can be earned at each event for all finishers. 15k and 10k options at this event.;Start Time;08:30am

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London

Run in the footsteps of legends around the iconic sights of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.;Along a flat, smooth course, you’ll be inspired by the scenic waterways, green spaces and sporting venues including the London Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre, the Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.;Our 10K course has been completed more than 15,000 times since we established this monthly event in 2014 - by first-timers, beginners, long-time runners and elite 10,000m athletes. Beesands, South Devon

Distance: 6.9 miles, 13.2 miles, 27.5 miles, 34.3 miles

This is where the Coastal Trail Series was born - the South Devon stage has become a cult classic. The course is contained within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is simultaneously picturesque and punishing. With its blend of jagged rocks interspersed with idyllic sandy coves, this coastline is jaw-droppingly beautiful and hugely inspiring.;The South Devon 10k, half, full and ultra-marathon events sell out every year, and you’ll soon see why as you weave your way around the technical coastline, before heading inland to tackle a few of the infamous Devon hills!

Farnham, Surrey

Distance: 66 miles;2 days

Following the route of the North Downs Way National Trail, the Pilgrim Challenge is firmly established as one of our best loved multi-stage ultra races. This, the oldest trade route in England, was used by Pilgrims heading for Winchester, Canterbury, Dover and the Continent. This 66 mile ultra follows a glorious section of the ancient route, from Farnham through to Merstham, in Surrey, passing through picturesque villages and areas of outstanding natural beauty. Whether this is your first ultra of your 100th, the stunning scenery of the North Downs will take your breath away and take you to new limits. 1/2 February.

Cuxton, Rochester, Kent

Distance: 3.7 - 4.4 mile loops;8 hours

The Ranscombe Challenge doesn’t quite fit in with our quest to bring you flat or mud free courses, but when you run around this beautiful rural reserve, on rolling trails amidst an array of wildflowers, wildlife and views over Kent and the Medway, you’ll understand why we couldn’t resist the detour! In fact the area is so pretty we thought we’d give you the opportunity to savour it for longer, and twice! This event has a time limit of eight hours to run as many of the 3.7 - 4.4 mile loops as you wish! It’ll be February, it’ll be hilly, it’ll very likely involve some mud! Events 1 & 2 February.;On the Saturday we’ll have the classic Green Route, the hillier of the two, and this will feature the first of the new Ranscombe medal series! On the Sunday we’ll have a Random Ranscombe, with the Red Route, slightly flatter, probably less muddy, but it will likely still be muddy, and definitely still quite hilly! The medals for Sunday will be from our box of random Ranscombe medals.

Longhope, Gloucester

Distance: 9 miles;15 miles

A 9 mile tough cross-country run thats starts and finishes with a tough climb up May Hill in Gloucestershire. Throw in some very muddy trails, some great scenery and the open plain at the top of May Hill and you have a recipe for a must-do challenge run. Bragging rights are yours as you return back down the Hill to claim your well-earned medal. The event starts and finishes on the private Huntley Estate, Gloucester. The event sells out every year so we have added an extra day, so you have the option to run on the Saturday or Sunday, or both if you are brave enough!;Limited to the Sunday you also have the option of the 15 miles Massacre - the choice is yours. 1/2 February.

Cheadle, Greater Manchester

Distance: 5 km

A lovely, undulating 2 lap trail race in Abney Hall Park in Cheadle, starting outside the main Hall and finishing by the guide hut. Takes place on the first Saturday of each month.

Halewood, Merseyside

Distance: 5 km

A free 5k monthly race which aims is to give runners of all abilities the opportunity to test themselves over the 5k distance in a fully licensed race over an accurately measured course. The race is held over a fast, flat all tarmac surface with PB potential. This is an out and back route down the Liverpool Loop Line from Knowsley Harriers AC HQ - a traffic free route with marshals and a lead bike.;This race is held on the first Saturday of each month.

Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Distance: 5 km, 1500m

A monthly time trial race held usually on the first Saturday. Race HQ is the Cricket Pavilion, Queen’s Park, Chesterfield. Changing, showers, refreshments available. There is also a 1500m Fun Run for children of all ages, which starts straight after the main race.

Bushy Park, Hampton, Middlesex

Distance: 10 km

A 2 lap race through amazing parkland with herds of deer, around lakes, along avenues of trees - the Bushy Park 10k has it all! The race start and finishes at the Diana Car Park, Hampton Court Gate.;Start Time;10:00am

Menai Bridge, Anglesey

Welcome to the iconic Jones Crisps Anglesey Half Marathon - THE most beautiful half marathon in the UK. The route is undulating yet quick, but most of all it is incredibly stunning. Starting on the iconic Menai Suspension Bridge, and running in front of the gorgeous Snowdonia backdrop, this race is truly one of a kind. The race provides the perfect pre-London and Manchester marathon preparation. Alternatively, it is a beautiful undulating course with stunning scenery - perfect for an early season PB. Also 10k option.

Princes Park, Eastbourne, Sussex

Distance: 13.1 miles

The Eastbourne Half Marathon, now in its 16th year, is planned to be even bigger and better than previous years. Following the huge success of 2019 we are hoping to attract over 2000 entrants. This is very much a community event and is aimed at runners of all abilities. New for this year we have more bands and entertainment along the route offering encouragement, and we will have ‘pacers’ to help you achieve your set goal or PB. The race is mainly flat with a hilly section at 2 - 3 miles. It is a loop race, which starts and finishes in Princes Park, taking runners along the Eastbourne coast.

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Distance: 26.2 miles;13.1 milwa

The Boundary Run is a marathon and half-marathon race that take participants around the boundaries of Cambridge. The course traverses roads, footpaths and trails, and incorporates some beautiful and not-often-seen areas of the city. It’s a laid back event with a friendly and pressure-free atmosphere. Both the full and half-marathon courses are about 30% off-road, and there are several reasonably sized hills on the course – significant enough to surprise those who are used to the flat terrain of Cambridge. This is a challenging but fun and rewarding course.

Paris, France

Distance: 13.1 miles

The Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris is an unmissable race. Over 40,000 people come from across Europe each year to run through the romantic streets of Paris on a route which starts and finishes within the City, and passes some of its most well known landmarks.;The ‘Semi de Paris’ is an IAAF Bronze Label race, with a start on the Quais d’Austerlitz, on the banks of the Seine, and a finish on the Quais François Mauriac. After your race, you’ll be able to enjoy the many shops and terraces on the edge of the Seine and nearby avenues of this magnificent quarter of the 13th arrondissement.

Tower Bridge, London

Distance: Do it for charity;13.1 miles

The Vitality Big Half – London’s most exciting half-marathon – returns for 2020. The event, which starts close to the Tower of London and finishes at the Cutty Sark, was created to celebrate London’s diversity and inspire more people to get active and take up running. More than 11,000 runners of all ages, backgrounds and abilities took part in 2018, and were led from the front by Sir Mo Farah.;The 2019 Vitality Big Half will once again feature: The Little Half, a family-friendly run for all ages and abilities, The Big Relay, which sees teams of four from the host boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich, run The Vitality Big Half in four legs.

Warwick Racecourse, Warwick

Distance: Half Marathon;Half Marathon;Half Marathon;Half Marathon

The Wigley Group Warwick Half Marathon will take place from Warwick Racecourse. It will follow its traditional route through the lovely Warwickshire countryside, providing the thousands of athletes who take part with an excellent opportunity to compete in an undulating, traffic free road race. This run is suitable for runners of all abilities and wheelchair users. Medals are awarded for all participants.;Start Time;09:00am

Betteshanger Country Park, Deal, Kent

Distance: 3.28 mile loop;6 hours

South East Kent was home to a rich mining heritage and one of the legacies of that was a huge spoilage area outside of what was Betteshanger Colliery near Deal. In recent years this has been totally transformed into what is now known as Betteshanger Country Park - formerly Fowlmead Country Park. The Park has a wide, gently undulating trail around the edge that is traffic free and ideal for a gentle trail run! Complete as many or as few 3.28 mile loops within a 6 hour time limit.
