A 15-year-old hilly run attracting the very best and most fun-loving of runners. This popular event is well renowned for its tough cross country routes, with hills, mud, sand and more hills, and sells out extremely quickly (absolutely nothing to do with the infamous homemade brownies and flapjacks). Medals can be earned at each event for all finishers. 5k and 10k options at this event.;Start Time;08:30am

Run in the footsteps of legends around the iconic sights of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.;Along a flat, smooth course, you’ll be inspired by the scenic waterways, green spaces and sporting venues including the London Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre, the Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.;Our 10K course has been completed more than 15,000 times since we established this monthly event in 2014 - by first-timers, beginners, long-time runners and elite 10,000m athletes. Kielder Forest Park, Northumberland

Distance: 10 km

Deep in the heart of Northumberland you can experience a night sky which is out of this World. Northumberland International Dark Sky Park is England’s first Dark Sky Park and the largest expanse of dark night sky in the whole of Europe, thanks to minimal light pollution. The best time for viewing is during the Winter months, when the nights are darkest. Combine this with an awesome trail running route on a great mixture of forest trails, then what further incentive do you need to pack your head torch, some warm winter gear and experience this night run set in the beautiful confines of Kielder Forest.

Cheadle, Greater Manchester

Distance: 5 km

A lovely, undulating 2 lap trail race in Abney Hall Park in Cheadle, starting outside the main Hall and finishing by the guide hut. Takes place on the first Saturday of each month.

Kielder Forest Park, Northumberland

Distance: 10 miles

A chance to test your endurance over this 10 mile trail race, open to all abilities of runners. You will be tackling some of the amazing trails that Kielder Forest has to offer - crossing the Kielder viaduct then taking on some single track, open forest tracks, sections of the old railway line and even a ‘bit’ of mud! Then test your night running skills later on in the evening at the 10k Kielder Night Run, or tackle the Kielder Off-Road Duathlon on the Sunday. Make your Kielder visit into a weekend of fun!

Halewood, Merseyside

Distance: 5 km

A free 5k monthly race which aims is to give runners of all abilities the opportunity to test themselves over the 5k distance in a fully licensed race over an accurately measured course. The race is held over a fast, flat all tarmac surface with PB potential. This is an out and back route down the Liverpool Loop Line from Knowsley Harriers AC HQ - a traffic free route with marshals and a lead bike.;This race is held on the first Saturday of each month.

Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Distance: 5 km, 1500m

A monthly time trial race held usually on the first Saturday. Race HQ is the Cricket Pavilion, Queen’s Park, Chesterfield. Changing, showers, refreshments available. There is also a 1500m Fun Run for children of all ages, which starts straight after the main race.

Cragside, Rothbury, Northumberland

Distance: 10 km

Run Northumberland’s most popular 10k race takes place once again at the Cragside Estate in Rothbury, a National Trust venue. The course includes a 4k climb from 3.7k to 7.7k (climbing almost 100m), coming back down to the finish outside the visitor centre. Don’t miss this challenging race, which is full of views of the hills, picturesque lakes and woodland within the Estate.

Kielder, Northumberland

Distance: 100 km;50 km;32 km

An ultra running event based in the vast expanse of Kielder Water & Forest Park, Northumberland…from lakeshore to heather moorland, beautiful trails and superb scenery.;The Park spans 600 square kilometres and is home to the largest forest in England and the largest man-made lake in northern Europe. The area features mile upon mile of purpose-built trails and moorland. Add to this a few little unique features and this is an ultra trail run like no other. 100k and 50k and 32k races.

Walton on Thames, Surrey

Distance: 3.28 mile laps;5/6/7 hours

The Ten in Ten (TiT) Run Series returns for 2020 and will be held from Saturday 4 April through to Easter Monday 13 April, from our Thames Path location in Walton on Thames, in Surrey.;As the name suggests this is a series of 10 consecutive running events held over 10 consecutive days where you choose - from 5k to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like each day. The laps will mostly be based around a 3.28 mile out and back series of routes along the beautiful river Thames, but will vary in length on some days. The runs are 5, 6 or 7 hour timed events, dependant on distance entered. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap on any day and you’re both a finisher for that day and a winner in our eyes.

Walton on Thames, Surrey

Distance: 5.3 km;5, 6 or 7 hours

The first ever 20in20 in the UK - the TwiT - is a go! As a special one off our 20in20 (TwiT) will run from Saturday 4 April, all the way to Thursday 23 April, and will be based from our Thames Path location in Walton on Thames, running in parallel with the Ten in Ten.;As the name suggests this is a series of 20 consecutive running events held over 20 consecutive days, where you can complete as many, or as few, 5.3km, 3.28 mile laps as you like each day. The laps will based around our standard out and back series of routes along the beautiful River Thames. The runs are 5, 6 or 7 hour timed events and we welcome absolutely all abilities of runner - complete one lap on any day and you’re both a finisher for that day and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can go in the full time limit. Then come back and do it all over again and again and again and again and again - you get the idea

Cragside, Rothbury, Northumberland

Distance: 5 km

Don’t miss this new race which is full of views of the hills and the picturesque lakes and woodland within the Cragside Estate. The course includes a gradual climb for the first 1km, then a loop within the Estate before a nice 2km return, coming back down to the finish outside the visitor centre.

Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.;All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line.
