The 401 Festival of Running announced this week that it is to have a cinema screening, highlighting the family friendly and community involvement for their festival.
Charlotte Pinder, Partnerships Manager for The 401 Foundation, said “This year we are delighted to be able to offer a free cinema screening to the Portishead community. This year’s film is going to be The Greatest Showman, one of this year’s most popular films and one that is for all the family.
“We have had a great response from the public about this event as it is designed not only for the runners but for the supporters, family and the local community to really get behind The 401 Foundation.
“With a variety of food stalls, pop up bar and plenty of space to enjoy the event, not to mention the stunning views that surround our Portishead, Bristol venue we cannot wait for everyone to enjoy this amazing weekend.”
Running from 25th - 26th August 2018 The 401 Festival of Running encompasses four races in total, 5km 10km Half marathon and for those brave enough an extra 6.1km race if they have entered The 401 Festival of Running Challenge event.
