Printwear UK

Taking time to visit Printwear UK next year should prove a profitable exercise for garment decorators across the UK, as the event plays host to the first UK showing of not only a wide range of garments, but a variety of screen printing equipment, embroidery equipment and consumables, too.

The show takes place on February 17-18 at Cranmore Park in Solihull, and, says Nick Carpenter, managing director of event organiser Mayerhouse Business Media: “We are very proud to be playing host to such a large number of new and exciting products that will see their first UK airing for garment decorators. One of the key reasons for launching Printwear UK was to provide the industry with a trade show that directly reflected their needs in a location that was accessible and a venue that was cost efficient.

“The venue is a light and airy exhibition and conference centre which is conducive to excellent networking, another element to our event which we are aiming to maximise upon, since many of our pre-registered visitors have indicated that the ability to interact with both suppliers and colleagues is of benefit to the sustainability and profitability of our vibrant industry.

“The venue has been chosen in consultation with a number of companies from within the promotional garment industry, which had expressed a desire for an affordable Midlands-based show with the benefits Printwear UK is offering.”

Alongside the brands, distributors, equipment and sundry suppliers exhibiting at Printwear UK, the event will also feature a FairTrade and Eco-Friendly pavilion. Says Carpenter: “We recognise that there is a growing demand for Fairtrade, eco-friendly and organic products within our market, hence the introduction of a pavilion set aside solely to help educate garment decorators on what these elements mean to their business and highlight a range of products that are currently available to them.

“The exhibitors within this section will be providing expert, hands-on advice to feed the much-needed education from this sector and showcasing a range of garments that meet the various criteria.”
