OIA Conference and AGM 2020 dates announced

OIA Conference and AGM 2020 dates announced

The dates for the Outdoor Industries Association’s Annual Conference & AGM have been announced.

They will take place on March 16-17, 2020, at Shrigley Hall, nr Macclesfield, Cheshire.

The conference is a key event in the outdoor industry calendar.

During the two-day event, delegates will gain insights from influential keynote speakers into key areas that impact our industry, while having the opportunity to network with colleagues from a variety of organisations.  You will also get the chance to take part in a series of educational breakout sessions and outdoor activities of your choice.

The theme for 2020 will predominately focus on sustainability and how we can all do more to minimise our impact on the environment, whether we are a large multi-national corporation or a small one-shop retailer.
Next year’s event takes place at Shrigley Hall Hotel in Cheshire. This fantastic venue nestled on the edge of The Peak District has worked extremely well in the past, with its combined hotel and conference facilities, and close national transport links.

Dave Bowler, Marketing & Communications, said: “We welcome both OIA members and non-members to join us for the conference. For more information, please keep an eye on the OIA website, the OIA’s newsletter and the emails sent out to our database.”

If you’re not currently signed up to the OIA database or are no longer receiving emails from them and would like to, contact Dave Bowler via .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

This process draws in atmospheric carbon and locks it away in the final product, rather than pulling up traditional oils from underground to make plastics with.
