The Q1 2015 show, which took place at Intersport’s Solihull headquarters on June 24-25, had a special focus on the Rugby World Cup, as well as running, fitness and football.
Supplier partners Gilbert and Canterbury presented exclusive products alongside new collections from the 40 exhibitors and integrated Intersport campaign support.
Gilbert Rugby co-hosted the traditional social evening on the evening of the first day of the show, which had special guests Paul Grayson, Richard Hibbard and rugby ball designer Ian Savage in attendance.
Gilbert donated a ‘money can’t buy’ experience with the Welsh Rugby team, which was won by Chris Hull of Intersport Tunbridge Wells and raised £1,080 for the guests’ charities Macmillan Trust and SNAC.
Watford football legend Luther Blissett, the guest Intersport football blogger, also took part in the social evening, providing a unique ‘football meets rugby’ moment on stage.
