Fitness trade show gains support of REPS as event positions itself with a clear target audience

REPS (The Register of Exercise Professionals) has partnered with new BP: Fitness Trade Show event with a view to providing speakers for the educational programme and endorsing sessions.

Organisers of BodyPower Expo, the largest indoor consumer fitness event in the world, recently announced plans to recharge LIW (Leisure Industry Week) with a rebrand to BP: Fitness Trade Show, shifting the focus to engage with the fitness sector like no other show on offer in the UK.

In a very short time since the rebrand was announced, REPS, similarly rejuvenated following a recent takeover, has announced that they will partner with BP: Fitness Trade Show for the upcoming event. REPS, who boast over 25,000 members, has received significant investment to ensure that the organisation remains current and fit for purpose.

PD:Approval will accredit sessions at BP: Fitness Trade Show to ensure that REPs members can earn CPD points and are incentivised to take up the option of free, top class education on offer in various education features available at the event. Seminars will cover everything from practical coaching advice and workshops to nutrition theory and a ‘Fitness Business School’ aimed at decision makers in the sector.

Managing Director of BP: Fitness Trade Show, Steve Orton, said: “This is a strategic alignment between two organisations who are both striving towards the same end-goal, upskilling and developing better fitness professionals in the UK. The education on offer will cater to all levels of experience from a newly qualified Personal Trainer to an experienced coach. We’re delighted to partner with REPS following their recent acquisition and understand their plans to invest in the market moving forwards. We see this as a perfect synergy that will help to position BP: Fitness Trade Show in the marketplace.”

John Byers, Business Development Manager at REPS, said: “We are pleased to be working with BP: Fitness Trade Show – it looks like it will be a great event for our members to attend with all of the up to date education (and CPD points!) on offer, plus the opportunity to visit the trade show to see the latest products and gadgets that are coming onto the market.”

Tom Bell CEO of PD:Approval says “PD:Approval is excited to be a part of the first BP:Fitness Trade Show, which will bring together a wealth of expertise and learning opportunities from around the world all endorsed by PD:Approval for recognition by REPS. We believe this conference will be truly inspiring to exercise professionals looking to further their careers.”

REPS has also agreed to market BP: Fitness Trade Show into the extensive network of over 25,000 fitness professionals and will also provide speaking opportunities to its endorsed training providers over the course of the two day event.

Registration for the event is free of charge for industry professionals and can be done by visiting http://www.bodypower.com/bp
