Buying group recruits Icelandic member

The STAG Buying Group has recruited its first member in Iceland.

Olafur Sigurdarson of SPORTVER EHF says: “We are a family owned and operated sportswear retailer with two outlets in Iceland competing with international giants like Sports Direct and INTERSPORT.

“From the very start STAG has been a great help in introducing us to some fantastic new suppliers and partners, enabling us to stay extremely competitive in this tough market.

“We are extremely happy to be part of the STAG family and look to the future with optimism and high hopes.”

Ward Robertson, joint managing director of STAG, says: “STAG is delighted to welcome our first member from Iceland.

“The first supplier orders have been delivered and our new member is very satisfied.”
