Sports Insight confirmed as Media Partner For BodyPower UK 2016

Global fitness media business, BodyPower, has confirmed Sports Insight as a media partner for their upcoming showcase event, BodyPower UK, at Birmingham’s NEC from 13th – 15th May 2016.

The brand is already enjoying a strong start to 2016 following a record-breaking third event in Mumbai, India, which drew crowds of 28,198 and included appearances from Bollywood royalty Salman Khan and John Abraham. Plans are now well underway for the UK event, set to be the biggest BodyPower Expo ever staged at the NEC, as more than 90,000 visitors are expected for three relentless days of fitness and sporting inspiration.

Sports Insight are well positioned to support the exponential growth of BodyPower given their market position as the UK’s largest circulated sports trade magazine.

Sports Insight’s Keith Marshall commented. BodyPower is the leading event in the international fitness market and as the magazine that is the leader in the Sports Trade in the UK and ROI we are looking forward to working together to the mutual benefit of the industry and the people involved.

Since its formation in 2009, BodyPower has become a staple fixture on the domestic and international fitness calendar. The hotly anticipated annual event is attended by visitors from over a hundred countries, enjoying a fanatical following.

Organisers have already announced that the world’s heaviest bodybuilder Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, who weighed in at a staggering 316 lbs at this years’ Mr Olympia contest in Las Vegas, will be attending the show in 2016, with several other leading athletes, educators, coaches, trainers and sports stars like Paige Hathaway, Steve Cook, Ryan Terry, Phil Heath and many more.

BodyPower Marketing Manager Josh Reeves commented: “The growth of the brand requires us to be extremely selective about who we partner with on any of our commercial deals. Media partnerships have been integral to growing our audience and reaching new markets, and I’m confident that Sports Insight will continue this trend and allow more and more people to be inspired by the BodyPower event.”

For the record number of fitness enthusiasts who have already purchased tickets, plus the thousands more planning to buy theirs over the coming weeks and months, BodyPower UK 2016 is now very much looming large on the horizon. The show is billed as the biggest and best event to date.
Standard tickets for BodyPower UK 2016 are now available from as little as £25.00.
