Salming launches Kobra Mid, a new indoor shoe with higher upper construction

One year ago Salming successfully launched it´s new shoe platform Kobra, which is used by many top players in handball, floorball and squash. Now it’s time for Kobra Mid, a shoe with higher shoe upper construction and lengthened lacing area.

Kobra Mid mainly addresses the handball player that wants a shoe with extra stability without sacrificing the characteristics of the Salming Kobra, like lightweight, cushioning and the hexagon grip.

Thomas Nord, head of design & creative director at Salming Sports, said: “Kobra Mid is aligned with our investment in handball in Europe and the shoe is developed in cooperation with our players in the Bundesliga like Petar Djordjic, SG Flensburg Handewitt, says. There has been a demand for a mid model, especially from the handball community, and we are really exited to provide Kobra Mid to the market.

“Salming also expect that the Kobra Mid will reach users in floorball and squash.

“Even if the main focus and demand has come from the handball community, the response from our other Salming sports has been very positive.”
