Running brand Ronhill has made two new appointments to its sales team.
Jon Wild (pictured left), a former international athlete, takes over as UK sales manager, handing responsibility for North West England, Scotland and Ireland to Andrew Norman (pictured right), who joined Ronhill from Sweatshop. Norman has twice been British national champion and competed at the World Cross Country Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
Says Mike Deegan, Ronhill’s CEO: “Ronhill has a tradition of hiring runners who are also graduates, which means they understand the sport at its grass roots as well as the industry. Both Jon and Andrew have MBAs, together with a wealth of running experience, and they are the key to the brand’s future growth. We will continue our efforts to mould together the best team in the sports industry as our eyes focus firmly on London 2012.”
