Mixed fortunes for new shows

The Running Order Show was branded a success by its organiser after 1,300 visitors from 58 countries attended the event at the Munich Order Centre on June 29-July 1. Ninety-eight brands were at the show, which was put on by Messe Munchen in cooperation with the LEX Group, a German association of running, walking and triathlon dealers, and WL Gore.

However, Messe Munchen cited the 'short preparation time' as a reason why 'expectations weren't met' at the first Sports Source Europe event, which also took place at the Munich Order Centre on June 29-July 1. Around 1,000 visitors from 60 countries attended the show, which comprised 78 exhibitors from 10 countries.
