They have an opening for a talented swimwear designer to provide world-class, innovative design across mens and womens swim ranges, working from initial concept to product reality whilst ensuring that the brand’s strategy and commercial goals are met. The role will include the creation of original, innovative designs that reflect Speedo’s design philosophy and standards, presenting design concepts, providing prototype sampling information, monitoring the development of samples and building a strong awareness of current trends and swim-related products through market research and travel, and keeping abreast of consumer needs as well as future design direction.
You should have strong CAD skills, be an excellent communicator with a good understanding of garment construction and manufacturing, a solid understanding of the swim industry, marketing principles and the development process and have the ability to work as part of a team.
