Tough trading conditions has meant Woodworm has had to release Kevin Pietersen and Freddie Flintoff from their lifetime sponsorship deals, said to be worth £1million a man.
Pietersen and Flintoff are credited with increasing Woodworm's sales by 250 per cent during the 2005 Ashes series. Pietersen has since signed a new deal with adidas, while Flintoff is reported to be still looking for a new sponsor.
