Sportsdirect.com has pledged to give customers who buy the new England away shirt their money back if the national team wins the World Cup in South Africa.
Store purchases or those made online between January 22 and March 14 will be eligible for the refund. The shirt is available from March 3 and has already been pre-sold, in significant numbers, for £35.
“We’re happy to be putting our money where our mouth is and will be delighted to give back millions to our customers when England win the World Cup,” said an optimistic Dave Forsey, Sports Direct’s CEO.
“It will be worth every penny to see the World Cup coming home at last and for the most devoted, loyal England fans to get some payback for all their support.”
The cost of socks, shorts and printing services is not included in the offer.
