New Balance has extended its deal as Lancashire County Cricket Club’s official footwear supplier for a third year.
In addition, the brand will be providing the club with a handcrafted bespoke shoe for the coming season (pictured).
“We are naturally thrilled, especially myself as a Lancastrian and a fervent LCCC supporter, to be providing footwear for Lancashire County Cricket Club, who will be welcoming world-class overseas players such as Australian all-rounder Simon Katich and West Indies Test batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul this coming season,” says Liam Burns, head of business development, EMEA Region, for New Balance.
"Cricketers at this level are on their feet all day and need the best footwear, and we are delighted to continue to supply the team and coaching staff with New Balance performance shoes.
“I do find it particularly satisfying that the shoes worn by Lancashire have been made for them at our Cumbrian New Balance factory in Flimby - Top quality British made shoes for a top British cricket team.”
