The Forum for the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), to be held at ispo 09, has recently announced an additional workshop to its forum agenda entitled Manufacturer Identification Guidelines (MIG) Vancouver Olympic Games 2010. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, February 3 from 10.30-12.30 in ICM Room 5 and is relevant to companies and brands involved in the Olympics (sponsoring of athletes, teams or NOCs).
Jane Montgomery, The Federation of Sports and Play Associations' managing director, will be attending the forum as the FSPA works closely with WFSGI in a number of areas, in particular with reference to issues relating to the Sporting Goods Industry Association (SGIA).
Peter Bratschi, the International Olympic Committee's vice-president partnership marketing, will be in attendance, as will Jean-Laurent Bourquin, the IOC's senior manager sports department, who will make a presentation and to whom attendees can address product development situations on branding for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.
The WFSGI asks anyone who wishes to participate to register at http://www.wfsgi.org and study the Vancouver 2010 MIG to be prepared for the workshop. The manual is available at http://www.wfsgi.org/articles/92.
