The Outdoor Trade Show 2009 has been hailed a success after reporting a 16 per cent increase in visitor numbers compared to last year’s event.
Over the three days 1,269 visitors had the chance to meet 105 exhibitors displaying over 300 brands. This year’s visitor figures represent a 105 per cent increase in attendance compared to the initial show in 2006, which attracted 46 exhibitors and 621 visitors.
Show organisers, Alasdair Scobbie and Marta Williams, said: “We are extremely pleased with OTS 2009 and encouraged by the strong attendance, especially in a year where most exhibitions are in decline. It is great to receive positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors and we look forward to being able to announce the dates for 2010 shortly and begin taking bookings.”
