The Mirfield Free Grammar School is certainly looking the part on the netball and hockey field, thanks to new match tops from GFORCE.
Keen to enhance its image and improve sporting performance, The Mirfield Free Grammar School called in Gymphlex to take a look at what GFORCE could do for them.
Launched earlier this year, GFORCE offers the ultimate flexibility in sports performance apparel. Utilising a range of design templates, customers can select colours, fabric and design features based specifically around their own needs.
As The Mirfield Free Grammar School was working on a tight budget, it chose to take just one item - a contemporary new sports top - for its hockey and netball team.
PE teacher and originator of the new team kit, Rob Fryer comments: “Most of the teams we play against just use plain white t-shirts for matches and we wanted something that would make our teams stand out from the crowd - and these new shirts have certainly done that.
"They look like a professional team and I honestly think having these new tops has instilled great school pride in the girls - improving their performance and contributing to a stronger team.
Working with Gymphlex has been stress free. Not only did they give us lots of support in choosing what shirts would be best for us, but the price was extremely competitive and delivery times very efficient and quicker than we anticipated.”
The Mirfield Free Grammar School hockey and netball teams now play in tops of the school colours - maroon and black with black piping - emblazoned with the school badge.
Situated in West Yorkshire, near Dewsbury, The Mirfield Free Grammar School is a comprehensive school that promotes excellent educational disciplines to pupils. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, the school boasts a strong record in sports and creative and performing arts.
