JustGiving announced as Headline Sponsor for The 2016 Running Awards

Reality Ltd, organisers of The Running Awards, have confirmed fundraising platform JustGiving as the Headline Sponsor of the 2016 awards which is now called The Running Awards in association with JustGiving. A new logo has also been released.

The Running Awards in association with JustGiving, which is the 3rd edition of the awards, takes place on Friday 22nd April 2016 at indigo at The O2 in London.

The only independent annual awards ceremony that celebrates the best of running and its culture as voted for by runners, has seen runners and consumers nominate and vote for their favourite products, brands, publications, sports retailers, charities and events since last summer.

JustGiving is the world’s social platform for giving, with a mission to ensure no great cause goes unfunded. Since its launch, JustGiving has helped 26 million registered users in over 164 countries raise over $3.8 billion for over 27,000 good causes.

The shortlists for The 2016 Running Awards were unveiled in December, and the only categories which remain open for voting are the Marathon, Half Marathon and Favourite Charity categories. The prestigious awards ceremony will be attended by up to 550 A-list industry figures plus running press, fitness bloggers and runners.

Howard Bell, JustGiving’s Chief Commercial Officer will be presenting a range of awards to winners on 22nd April, including ‘Favourite Charity’, one of the most sought-after trophies of the night.
